Before saying anything that would upset your pop, when the doctor visit was overwith, you could have ask the nurse to talk to the doctor for just a moment. I am sure that he would have told you why. Maybe it had nothing to do with your pop.

What do you mean, "the look"? The cancer "look", the diabetes "look", the oh my god, he's so overweight "look", the he's so sick "look"? What? If it's life threatening to dad, which I can't understand why the doc. wouldn't tell him, then zip your lips.
