i saw a new episode tonight and she wasn't on it nor was she on the opening cast list.

That is because Mackenzie Rosman she plays ruthie and if you watched 7th heaven last year you would have found she was going to scotland for a english/poetry thing. she will be back in about 5 or 6 more episodes... and yeah because the New CW Network desided to bring back 7th heaven for it's 11th season it is back the episode that was on tonight was the second one of this season.

Who knows. They (the writers) don't care to explain anything really on the show now. But to answer your question, she is over at that exchange school in Scotland and probably won't be coming back. The parents on the show say they only got Sam and David, um hello, you have Ruthie too for a couple of years. The Scotland trip was only supposed to be about a few weeks, I think. But I guess they won't bring Ruthie back. Which means we'll only have 3 storylines and won't see the Ruthie, Matt and Sarah, Mary and Carlos or Simon and Rose storyline. Half the people on the show now aren't even family! Martin and Sandi! Hate that storyline! What's the point in even having the show back if they aren't even gonna have Ruthie, Matt, Sarah, Mary, Carlos, Rose, and Simon on the show anymore? They should have just left it canceled instead of letting it run some more and ruining it! I'm more confused and disappointed with the show now than I was with the last episode of the season! The show is going to end with no or little viewers now then it was going to end with a alot of viewers with what everybody thought was going to be the last episode ever!

I know right it was asurprise to me also. I thought the show was cancelled. I think she moved or went college or something like that. Hey don't quote me I didn't keep up with the show after they announced that everyone was having twins.

I know i'm not likin' the new season so far. Ruthie's still in Ireland
don't know if she's returning to the show or not.

i don't know why....but that show sux....
