No. The baby deer are most the time ok. I have three back behind my house I have been watching them eat hay. They are cute they KILL their mommies. But they are ok .
Well not hay but they cut the field now and they have been eating out there. Didn't won't to give ya wrong info like deers ate hay. lol

the hunter didn't shoot bambi...he shot his mom and i don't think he should have done that either....its been a long time since i watched that movie.
