As long as it is in your personal space (balcony, porch) they CANNOT do that. The FCC ruled on this issue sometime ago. If it is not vivible from the street and there are no wires protruding, you can keep it.

If the former manager agreed to have satellites on the property then, it was okay. Now,,,,, a New Manager came on board and wants them off. Read your contract. When the new manager came on board did you sign a new contract? Stating the do's and don'ts on the property. The new manager have to have his statement in writing for you to remove the dish satellite. If you can not get good perception in the area that you live in and the satellite helps the perception then you let the manager know this. Ask the manager why do you have to remove it. When you do ask this question put it on paper and have ALL the tenants sign it and get it NOTARIZED. If he want to go legally stupid beat him to the punch and make him give you a reason for making you remove your (all the tenants ) dish satellites. By the way, make sure he does not put up one either.

the new management can and will remove the dishes when they are attached to THEIR property . on THEIR roofs, on THEIR balconies, or in THEIR common areas. they cannot refuse the right to get signal
from any source as long as it does not harm THEIR property.
hate it for you but they are totally in the legal right and you and the others wouldn't stand a chance in hades to win this one unless somebody else was given special exception. then you might have a case. but then the leasing company would eventually cull all of the violators out by not renewing your lease, which again,
is within their rights.

Review the contract! See if there's a prohibition for that. If there is, there's nothing you can do. If there's none, negotiate an addendum to the contract.

However if the place where the dish is installed is part of the leased premises and there is no expressed prohibition to install one, you have all the right to put and maintain one there. There is not much the lessor can do exept for him to wait for the expiration of your contract. But dont expect your contract to be renewed then.

If it is not prohibited in your lease, you may be able to refuse as it would be considered a change in the terms and conditions of your lease.

Talk to a Landlord/Tenant attorney in your area.
