Well I don't. But it appears that certain socialists in congress think it is okay to just steal your property. So I have to ask, will you continue to support the socialists who seek a totalitarian government, seek to destroy all of your FREEDOMS and to eliminate the constitution.

Look at this vote.

No I don't. What do you think that the Civil War was about? It was fought over the Federal Government attempting to steal the land, and force taxation. (I bet that you thought that it was about slavery huh!(( slavery wasn't abolished in the North until 1 year AFTER the war started)) It wasn't because the slaves were being freed at a faster rate, and treated MUCH better in the south. So much so that many of the "slaves" fought to defend the very plantations that they were employed on. ((it was indentured servitude, NOT ownership)) They were also more integrated into the society.)

So as a Southern Man, I don't believe that the Federal, or State Government, has the right to take my land. Furthermore I believe that they should not have the right to blindly tax my pay check. NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION. (It's in the Constitution, read it if you don't believe me.)

It's called the "Right of Eminent Domain" and if any municipal, state, or Federal agency needs your property, you better start packing. Is it ethical and just? Hell, no. Do they do it frivolously with wanton disregard for private citizen's rights - I hardly think so. It's supposed to be used only when absolutely necessary, when there is no other alternative. But guess what? Landlords can do the same thing, and sometimes they DO evict people for no good reason. Socialist and totalitarian? Give me a break. Where's our central health care system? Where are the gulags? All things are not right in this country, but they're not as bad as you suggest.

Government has ultimate power, if it wants to take your property, it can--theres nothing you can do to stop them if they really want it. There have always been a lot of circumstances when they could, legally--if you don't pay your taxes, they can take it. If theres a big emergency like a big fire they can blow up your building without your permission to create a firebreak, that happened a lot in the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire. They can force you to give up your property for fair market price if they want to put a road thru, or if a dam is going to back up a river and put your property under water. You never have absolute title, never have, never will--they have the Army.

bush and the republicans have laid in place the totalitarian state, have enslaved us all, have eliminated the constitution, and you complain about sharing? is this a karl rovian diversion?

why do you focus on the crime of wanting universal heatlh care? how totally messed up are your values and perceptions?

this is what just happened in America:
1)The President has ended US respect for habeus corpus, foundational to Western Civ since the Magna Charta. Any 'enemy combatant' can be denied habeus corpus, meaning they can be disappeared.
2)The President has determined that he and he alone can DECLARE AMERICAN CITIZENS AS ENEMY COMBATANTS.
3) Halliburton has a 375 million dollar contract to build detention camps for 'future, unspecified programs.'
4)there are free speech zones in america and hundreds have been arrested for speaking freely outside bush's designated zones.

Why oh why are you worried about sharing and yet supporting the fascists who have installed totalitarianism and destroyed America.

YOu're such a lousy, brainwashed citizen. thanks a lot for stepping up and staying informed, comrade.

They also will try to steal your money by a new tax method the democrats have been considering for a few years. Lets say your mortgage payment is $1000.00 per month. However, if you were to rent your home it could earn you $1500.00 per month. To the democrats, that is $6000.00 per year profit. They intend adding this amount to your income to increase your taxes and their power. Sound nuts, outrageous, unbelieveable? If they regain power, this is one of their plans to raise taxes.
