I lived in this house in Fredericksburg, VA not too long ago that I honestly believed was haunted, of sorts.
One morning my alarm was going off, but that didn't wake me up. The bed started jerking, like someone was at the foot of the bed and "pushing" into it with their knees. No one else was in the room. It stopped immediately after I opened my eyes. Scared the living crap out of me.
On another night, I heard what I can only describe as "a marble" rolling around the entire surface of my attic. It even bounced a couple of times. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep that night.

nope, I got lucky with this apartment. No strange noises, feeling, or weird shadows. ^.~ The home I grew up in was a different story. It was wicked haunted and my friends usually would only stay one night. The last apartment there was something wrong with it. Strange noises, my daughter would even be sitting there talking to the corner when no one was around. I just let her and then moved as soon as possible.

Yeah, but it's probably the mice in the walls (I live in a very old house). I just ignore it and go back to whatever I was doing...although I do hate it when the wind is blowing and the tree branches are scraping up against the house...

When the house is really quiet - I hear noises
in my Attic - but it could be the squirrels that have
moved in for the winter.
I'll have to get someone to get them out before to long.

I just thought it was because I was alone and nobody was talking so I could hear things that I hadn't noticed before.

Yes, most of them is the house settling, no it does not bother me unless I let myself think about them.I play music to get my mind off of them.
