Cal the planets and their periods A, B,C, & D
Synodic periods:
AB = 9*6/(9-6) = 18
AC = 15*6/(15-6) = 15
AD = 18*6/(18-6) = 9
BC = 15*9/(15-9) = 22.5
BD = 9*18/(18-9) = 18
CD = 18*15/(18-15) = 90
2*3
3*3
3*5
2*3*3
LCM=2*3*3*5=90
The smallest number of years would be 90, which is also the synodic period of C & D

There's an alignment of Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Uranus that happens only every two thousand years.

It depends a lot of which four planets you are talking about.
The inner planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars) align more frequently.

You might look at how long the Martian orbit is.
