Well.....though there is some peculiar kind of sense in your question, but still I wouldn't dare to say almost all questions and answers are stupid. Actually this is relatively beginning of this Forum and it would surely improve its status as it progresses. Yahoo management certainly would make some changes to check for the stupid questions (Like "What is your age? Who are you? Do you weep? I want to pee....What are you doing? etc.) In fact most of the teens joining here are seemingly gathering just to "kill the free time"....and sadly they are making this otherwise very nice and wise platform in the shape of jokers' meet.
By the way, your expression "Totally retarded answers" is the very perfect and impressive one to judge those who are making nuisance with emotions of serious askers.
However, I still believe in niceness of people.

In my opinion, there are many people who don't take this forum seriously. There seem to be a great number of immature people who participate here (both young and old) that use "Answers" as a forum for their sophomoric humor. Just my 2 cents . . .

Because 95% of the people asking and answering, have not got the sense that God gave a piss-ant. Probably teenagers playing. You know how when your a kid, dickin around is cool?

i believe its people being caught up in the point system and not truely thinking about thier answers ahhh greed its only points but what sweet points they are i have to have more more more mwaahahaha sorry the greed has got me. well ok its not only the greed but the quality of questions has gone down as well so how can you expect a good answer to a question that rather umm lame.

Because they get 2 points for just answering ! Irrespective of whether their answer is relevant or not to the question asked ! They are to gain & nothing to lose for a stupid answer too !

some people are just bored. they don't know the answers to the questions, they just answer them to get points. notice how the eye catching, stupid questions always get more answers? that is because the bored stupid people like that kind. easy, useless, and it gets them points.
i try not to do that most of the time...
