All I know is that it happens when he plops down on the ground and dust swirls around him and it spells sex. You have to watch it in slow motion though.
I found this on a search:
As Simba lies down in the flowers in the Lion King, the flowers swirl into the air and spell out a word that looks like "SEX", according to Disney reps it really says "SFX", but it still looks like sex.
Here's a page about the dust cloud in the Lion King:

I think it's after the "Hakuna Matata" scene. It's at night. Simba is hanging out with Timon and Pumbaa, and he goes off to the edge of a cliff and plops down on his belly, kind of depressed and tired. Some white flowers or spores fly up into the air like a cloud, and they spell "SEX."

Okay this is as tiresome as the poor fools who listen to records backwards to find "devil messages". Just watch the movie and enjoy the cartoon and quit looking for hidden messages...it's just a waste of good energy.

it's not the flowers it's the clouds. After his dad dies and he lays down in the grass, talks to his dad (whos in the clouds) and then his dad fades away and it spells sex.
