You need to have a hair, or skin care license first. Then depending on where you live, there are different state laws but you have to be licensed by the state. Its a huge investment if you are not familiar with the beauty industry. Many spas close within the first year. Thats two to three years where you have to pay everyone who works for you, pay the state, pay for products, without you getting anything. I would be real careful in this industry.
