i think all the characters in seinfeld are great, but george and kramer r the best, as well as frank and stelle (george's parents) i also love newman!! "if u control mail u control information!!" or something like that he loves to say!!

OK... i'm a seinfeld expert... i watched every episode in order one week in college. and i realized that i actually like jerry and kramer as characters... BUT, george is the funniest. he's so stupid and funny. he has the best lines. however, jerry is also hilarious when coupled with george. elaine... she's a hottie!!! and she's hilarious! she's the second funniest character on that show. kramer is funny, but not as funny as the other 3. he's mainly slapstick humor... but when he has great lines and great story lines he's so funny. the one with mickey and the 2 girls... "not to mention the blacks and the jews." so funny! so to answer your question in order:
1. George

Georgie definitely the funniest character of the main 4, then Elaine, Cosmo & Jerry. Outside those 4 then i'd have to say Frank & Estelle Costanza (the episode with the doll that looked like George's mother is absolutely hilarious)

George, George, George! But I loved the entire cast. It was a great mix. The actor who played George's dad is also hilarious now in The King of Queens. Seinfeld was a classic show!
