I had a problem with zits on my back and tried everything, including going to a dermatologist. Finally, I did some online research and found that alot of the soaps and shampoos that are made today have so many chemicals in them that can actually irritate the skin and cause zits that do not clear up with normal treatments. I started using a product line called "Aubrey Organics" (you can order online at their website) and after a couple of weeks, I started to notice a huge difference. It's been months now and I am now zit free...not only on my back but everywhere!!! Good Luck.

Ok, food wont give u zits. Your skin producing too much sebum is whats giving them to u. That or stress can give them to u too. Periods aswell according to my gf and cousin.

Now i know that alot of people r saying proactiv does not work and is bad for ur skin. DON'T BELIEVE them hun. I didnt have acne to begin with, only had a few minor zits here and there. So basically all i needed was a GOOD face cleanser. My gf and cousin were the ones whom got me to try it and its worked like a charm for me! Give it a go, u got nothin to lose besides ur zits. It does work. Now remember this is coming from a guy so cmon u haveto try it.

All the best hun.

Isn't being young great??

1. Skin care. You gotta wash at least twice a day. The deal is that your skin is producing huge amounts of oils. You don't have to worry about dry skin at your age, do you? The pores get clogged, producing the "blackheads" that turn into zits. I finally started using dishwashing soap!! to scrub off enough oils.

2. Hormones. As a father, I hated to see my daughters go on "the pill" but I was grateful when their hormones were under control.

3. Bacteria. There are obviously baterias that cause the classical "acne" that leads to the scars. Again, washing, washing, washing.

4. Meds. Most meds either dry your skin (Oxywhater) or scrub it, or both.

5. Doctor. It doesn't hurt one bit (not even a blood test or a paper gown!) to go to a skin doc. I'd love to see you go.

One word : Acctuane.
Go see a dermatologist. They can prescribe it. It does have some side effects in some people, so look into it. I've been on it for 5 months out of the normal 6 month treatment. Its great I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has severe acne.

If it's close to your period, then it's hormonal. Hopefully that'll go away as you age. Otherwise what helps me is to be out in the sunlight. Your skin makes vitamin D when exposed to sunlight - I don't know if thats what makes my zits go away, or if they just get cooked. Works for me.

Go see a dermatologist. That's what I do.

(I just asked a question about a RX acne pill. If I got any answers, I'll post the link.)
