Good gardening tips - Weeds, pull as soon as you see them, they are much easier to get rid of when small and your garden looks better without them. Planting, plant one type of flower in groups of uneven numbers as it is more pleasing to the eye. Planting in drifts is also pleasing to the eye. If you have Hostas, snails and slugs love them, so take egg shells and squish them into little pieces and put around each Hosta since they will not want to crawl over them. If you want to have continual color in your garden be sure and dead-head all of your flowers and they will flower again. Happy Gardening!

This tip is for rose bushes with thorns. The thorns collect water and releases this water in times when there is no rain. But if you water your garden regularly, you can pick the thorns off your rose bushes. Instead of a lot of water going to the thorns, the water goes straight to the rose and makes it fuller. Another thing is to not let 3 or 4 roses be on one cluster. Clip all off and leave one so that if will be full and healthy.

Garden Goddess tip: When potting plants put dead leaves in the bottom of the pot. Will keep potting soil from leaking out, very light weight, and will supply lovely organics for the plant as they decompose. Don't you just love dirt?

At the point when cymbidium orchid blooms shrivel, it's an ideal opportunity to separate swarmed plants by expelling them from the holder, separating the root ball, and shaking off the greater part of the grower blend. Separate into clusters of three to five verdant pseudobulbs, and expel the old dead-looking "knobs" alongside all the straggly old roots. Tidy cut or broken knob closes with sulfur, or permit them to dry over night. Repot with crisp orchid blend.
is best to choose a decent brand of soil; they are not all made equivalent. Most contain variable blends of manure, peat greenery, sand, vermiculite and different materials.
