As a Michigander myself, I think that DeVos has a better future laid out, but I'm a bit young to vote yet =[

Well, Granholm was able to articulate thoughts and emotions beyond, "I'm disappointed" in tonight's debate. At least her plans have bullet points beyond "I am going to create jobs." She has steps and strategies. Those help. Also, she seemed human while DeVos seemed to have someone behind pulling a string before he talked (just a personal note).

I had family in Grand Rapids who left because of DeVos. Not only have his polcies and lobbying hurt Grand Rapids and its outlying burbs but it has gutted MI. It is too bad Clinton did not stand up to the DeVos's of the world and say no to NAFTA. Unfortunately, was trying to plactate the righties and he did not keep that secret.

Furthermore, it was interesting to see Granholm turn off his lights with the point about the 12 million shares in a chain of nursing homes known for their physical and sexual abuse of the patients. Maybe DeVos could run with Foley out of Florida and they could create a pervert platform? That seems to be cropping up on that side of the isle. (I admit that joke was in bad taste).

Lastly, what is that whole Latino thing about? Granholm has a greater stake and interest in diversity than any past govenor. She suppports some sort of reparations (Affrimative Action--better than nothing) for God's sake? What makes you think she does not care about Latinos? That is the most ridculous statement. Do you think DeVos is going to give a darn about anyone that is not rich and white?

The Governor of Michigan has an important job. He is the who has to turn out the lights when the last Michigander leaves.
