I know that there is pill to help with acne. I'm almost 14 and have had acne for about a year and I'm seeing a dermintologist. (I was also using Proactive. I didn't the results I wanted, it is good though). I was thinknig of using an acne pill (Its not real bad, I just hate it). I don't want to go on a strong one. Are there any bad side-affects? Does it work? Will all/most of my acne go away? Any advice?

Thanks!

(I would get the acne pill thing from my dermintologist, just to make that clear)

No one can ever keep acne from coming back! But you can control it by doing one simple thing. I wish people would listen to this advice and try it. wash your face with soap and water in a circular motion going up,not down. Everyone washes their face going down, so it should be simple to figure out which way is up. Every two-three weeks clean your face with a little bit of alcohol on a cotton ball. When you clean your face with the alcohol you will see just how dirty your face really is. Acne does not heal over night so you have to follow the instructions that I have given. When a white head does reach the top (where it is clearly able to be seen) pop it. Do not pop it before you see the head!!! Alcohol not only helps clean the dirt off your face, it also helps bring the heads up faster. Try this, if after a month you see no results then see another dermatologist.

Well, they're SUPPOSED to aid (none have ever fairly helped me, so I'm sour. LOL) by way of serving to to scale back the bacterial load for your face. I understand that sounds thoroughly nasty, however feel of it the identical method while you're taking an antibiotic while you are in poor health, it makes the micro organism die and leave. Same proposal for the micro organism for your face that factors pimples. Most medical professionals regularly prescribe an oral healing together with a topical cream to do away with the pimples you've got whilst the capsules preclude extra from cropping up.

I use a face wash. You got to scrub and let it kind of soak for like 30 seconds. It did't work for me when I washed it off in 5 seconds but, when I did it like that, my face started to clear. I don't know about the pills though.

I had the same issue and I couldn't find anything that worked well on them. I finally went to my dermatologist. He put me on Accutane. There are a lot of side effects...it really dries out your skin. I got some mild skin rashes on the backs of my hands, but in the end it cleared up those 'rocks' (as I called them) and I've not had any since. For me, the side effects were worth it so I wouldn't have to have the embarrassment of having those rocks anymore on my face. I hope you find something that works for you!

Do not take the chemical ones. Those have a lot of side effects. Try the natural ones that you can buy from drugstores. Those actually do a better job.

Stop eating junk food, and don't drink pop or soda.
