I think it is geared toward anyone who enjoys challenging their brain. It has been one of my favorite shows since I was little. We used to watch it every night. Now I tend to watch CSI or L&O but I will catch the occassional Jeopardy! . I have always enjoyed trivia shows.

They have their kids and teen tournaments to keep the younger crowd enticed.

I think a majority of the current viewers are 40+ but I think it can appeal to anyone of any age.

Any age group at all. I have been watching Jeopardy since I was a kid. Its not just geared toward one specific target audience.

People who get most of the answers before the contestants do - and can never get on the show & prove how smart we really are.

I think they are marketing it towards the stay at home mom and dads that want to show they still are intelligent.
