volume of pyramid:
1/3 Area of the base x height
=1/3 (768 x 768 x 482 )
= 94 7650 56 ft^3

Now, each apartment is 30 x 25 x 10 or 7500 ft^3
94765056/7500=12635.34
in other words
you can have
12635 apartments.

Okay, the volume of the pyramid is:

1/3 Area of the base x height =

1/3 (768 x 768 x 482 ) = 94,765,056 ft^3

Each apt is 30 x 25 x 10 or 7500 ft^3

Divide and you get 12635.34 apartments. Round (down) since you wouldn't build .34 apartments.

The formula for volume of a pyramid is 1/3(Area of the Base)(Height). Find the volume of the shape using the measurements given.

Divide the volume you found by the volume taken up by each Apt (30)(25)(10)... round up because you can't have a decimal of an apt.
