The earth would have to spin fast enough so that centrifugal force outward was stronger than gravity inward. Since you're already "spinning" at about 1,030 miles per hour at the equator, you wouldn't throw up, and wouldn't notice it at all -- you only feel changes in velocity, if you're moving a constant velocity you don't feel like you're moving. Except for that centrifugal force thing.

At the equator the earth would have to be spinning at about 15,000 miles per second for centrifugal force to overcome gravity's pull. Trouble is, it wouldn't be just you that would go flying off into space, it would be *everything*, since gravity is what pulls earth together into a sphere. It would throw itself apart long before you got a ride into space :)

Retarded.

Gravity has to do with the attraction between any objects with mass. The fact that the earth is spinning has nothing to do with it.

On a barf scale of 1 to 10 (3 is where we are at now), it would be an 7 or 8 if we speed up the rotation and 0 to 1 if it slowed down.

I don't really know but I don't think the speed of rotation can effect gravity if it spins 1000 times faster...well if that ever happen, we all will probably be dead because we will be push out of the earth...the law of motion says that an object will continue to move unless acted upon by another force...since the gravity is weakened (gravity the force that stop us from moving) It can no longer stop us... after all this is just my hypothesis... I don't even know if you guys even understand what iam saying lol...Oh and if you didn't see the answer to the throw up part of your question, no you will not throw up, you will die instead =].

I have never come a cross a reasonable explanation of gravity. I don't think anybody really knows what it is. But it can be measured, so, in theory, it should be possible to calculate the centrifugal force needed to overcome it it, but I'm not going to try.
I'd just say that its a hypothetical question, and the answer is 'very fast'
