I was doing some cleaning and came across a bunch of old cassette tapes. Do you think I should just throw them out, or do you think they'll be worth something one day?

you can try to digitize them so you can use them now with today's technology (look on net for how-to)

I just sold about 100 new and used tapes at my garage sale...with the advent of DAT, MD, MP3's, cassette tapes are becoming the way of the past...I transfered all of my tapes that I wanted to keep (most of them were pre-recorded tyapes) onto CD's..bottom line NO they will not be worth anything one day..UNLESS you have some pre-redcorded that someone is looking for that never came out on a CD...IF you have pre-recored tapes try selling them on E Bay

Unless they have sentimental value to you, discard them. Magnetic tape quality deteriorates over the years so they probably sound bad anyway. I have never heard of cassette tapes increasing in value.

Haha, just throw them out. I don't think they will worth anything later on.
