I understand the whole concept behind it, with celebrities from all over the world answering questions simultaneously,but is there any way it will make a difference in the real world?

Nope - I don't think Celebrities are asking the questions.
They get paid good money for letting their name being
used on particular topics. My questions is - who is
going to check all the answers? Thousands of them!
For Hillary Clinton's question on Breast Cancer the total
answers are already over 4127.
