What are some unique table decorating ideas for January birthdays?

There is a table decorating contest at my church for each month of the year. My mom is the captain for her table which is January. Whom ever has the best table wins.

white table cloth with blue dishes or you could use batting, the stuffing for pillows and flatten it to the table to look like snow. Instead of name tags or center pieces use snow globes. and for placemates or coasters for glasses use tissue paper snowflakes. You know, fold the tissue paper and cut the little shapes out like we all did in kindergarten.
