Write about the Pfiesteria . . . parasite and another one that lives in Brazil in the waters. People go swimming and this parasite crawls up a womans urethra and then lays an egg. When the egg hatches it begins to eat causing a sever pain in a womans bladder tract. usually an operation is the onoy way to remove this worm.

I love story's that point to one character that is doing all the bad things, like thinking its a ghost but in the end you find out that someone else was doing it. Like socks, and small objects missing and things bumping and making noises in the night and glowing eyes and in the end of the story you find out that what is really happening like a cat that could come into the house and do all of the scary things. While what was scary in the beginning of the story and in the end it no longer is scary. Hard to explain, but sixth sense was like that.

Maybe you should take scary to the next level...instead of your typical omgee theres a monster..maybe you should write somthing about emotionaly scary event. Like...something teens face a lot [I'm 12 so I have a little bit of idea of what that is] Not somthing to drastic but make it unique so you teacher will be forced to give you a A

Take things you find scary (or creepy) and find some way to incorperate them into one plot. Add characters and events and you are there.
Vampires+Zombies= A vampire awakening (like a zombie awakens) after a long slumber.+ a girl+ moving to a new creepy mansion-like house= A girl move into this old creepy mansion. She sees a coffin and a vampire awakens.

"Stalker"--- nice guy/girl at school, maybe even nerd, not too social reject, though- go for socially invisible.... no idea that they've got pix of _____ in their basement... all sorts of pix... yearbook pix from way back, candid shots at school, peeping-tom shots from the bushes outside their bedroom... (go into lots of detail about the shrine to ____... maybe a peak inside Stalker's mind, why the obsession...)
This idea is always fun- a person who is normal, verging on boring from the outside, but twisted and sick on the inside...
"Monster"-- tree-hugger woman goes to S America, swims with locals in river... no idea that nasty little creature has taken up residence in her uterus... she gives birth to.... whatever you want Baby Creature to be...
Would creep out any woman of child-baring age...
Traditional Monster-- There I was, sitting in my easy chair, reading a great book when I hear in the distance the long, drawn out howl of a wolf..followed by the sound shreak of something unrecognizable. I had been hearing these noises for weeks, but lately, they have been sounding closer, more distinct, more frightening. They make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. This is a night to stay in, curl up with my book, a nice warm blanket, fire and my dog (you name the dog) by my side. He's a little worried tonight.. seems the noises have gotten to him too.
Have fun- Maybe it's a werewolf? Or just a crazy guy who thinks he's a wolf... Or maybe the guy in the easy chair is halucinating, "remembering" sounds from when he was out on the hunt- he just THINKS he's in his easy chair... There's a Stephen King book vaguely along these lines, don't remember the title, though.
