its been probly 6 months at the minimum, every nigh and morning and no change. I am thinking about switching back to Oxy pads. Or I could be using Proactiv wrong I don know. This is what I do:
1. Rinse face off with warm water
2. Then apply the Renewing cleanser and rub gently
3. Wash off the Renewing cleanser with warm water (and wait for face to dry)
4. Squeeze some Revitalizing Toner onto a cotton ball and rub onto face (and wait for it to dry)
5. Apply Daily Oil Control (and wait for it to dry)
6. Apply Repairing lotion.

Am I doing it wrong?

Suggestions if I should keep using it or switch to something.

The same thing happened to me and a friend of mine. Obviously, it doesn't work for everyone and isn't worth the expensive price. I started using this $3 St Ives Medicated Apricot scrub, and it works way better than ProActiv did for me. My point is that you should probably quit the ProActiv and go back to whatever was working better for you before.

Oh, and another good product that a lot of people I know have had results with is the Tea Tree Oil line from the Body Shop....you might want to give it a try.

I used it and it didnt work for me , it just dried out my skin. Try another product, everyones skin is different and sometimes when you use a product for too long, your skin becomes immune, and it doesnt work well anymore. Switching facial cleansers every few months can also help you to find what you're looking for. If you are really unhappy with your skin, you could visit a dermatologist and ask what you should do. A great way to keep your skin looking healthy is also what you put in your body. Lots of water keeps your skin smoother and hydrated. Good luck! Also, try some sensitive skin products if the stronger things such as oxy irritated your skin. Red, or rashy means allergy, so if you use any that cause that, change immediately! Theres another mail order facial care system called MURAD. I think if you go to Murad.com you can find it. I was allergic unfortunately, but I have very sensitive skin. It also is said to have great results with people with all types of skin and skin issues. Good luck! J

Try rubbing your face a little bit harder.. just easy by the eyes...

People find something that works for a little bit and then stops working.. you basically get immune to the stop and you have to keep trying other things...

have you tried only doing it once a day for a week? Maybe its just inducing more and more oil onto your face...

Try that too.. do it once a day and rub a little harder..

If nothing else.. throw in the towel and go back to the oxy pads

I used it for a while and did what you did and it showed very little results for at least 2 weeks and then about 30 days later a lot of my zits were going away.

Also remember to not touch your face at all during the day unless you have to. when you do it makes the zits come back because of your dirty hands. And during the day just rinse off your face.

I haven't used it for a long time and if I ever do use it it's the green liquid that burns, which is just like alcohol pads.

I usually just use soap and water.

Well I use proactiv and my issue was I wasn't putting it on with enough care. Make sure you rub in the different solutions. Also, you don't have to wait for your face to dry after using the cleanser.

Did not work for me either. The only thing I did differently was using the Oil Control less often (it actually MADE my face feel greasy). I use Murad now, and it seems to be working. You might want to give it a try. Link for their special is below.

You are not doing anything wrong. Proactive does not work on every one. That said, try different things til you see what works for you the best. My recommendation is that you should go to Origins and ask the salespeople what products are best for you.

I also use Proactiv and I would suggest keep going. It may help if you massage the cleanser into your face for longer?

its hard not to believe jessica simpson and p diddy on those commercials

i recommend seeing a dermatologist. Ive talked to dermatologists and they say proactiv doesnt work for every1 because some have more sensitive skin or it dries out easily.

My husband had no luck with Proactive either. It ended up fading for him but I heard tea tree oil works.
