(3/(sqrt(5) + sqrt(3))) - (2/(sqrt(5) - sqrt(3)))

Multiply everything by (sqrt(5) + sqrt(3))(sqrt(5) - sqrt(3))

(3(sqrt(5) - sqrt(3)) - 2(sqrt(5) + sqrt(3)))/((sqrt(5) - sqrt(3))(sqrt(5) + sqrt(3)))

(3sqrt(5) - 3sqrt(3) - 2sqrt(5) - 2sqrt(3))/(5 + sqrt(15) - sqrt(15) - 3)

((3 - 2)sqrt(5) + (-3 - 2)sqrt(3))/(5 - 3)

(sqrt(5) + (-3 + (-2))sqrt(3))/2

(sqrt(5) - 5sqrt(3))/2

First subtract
[3/(sqrt5 -sqrt3)] - [2/(sqrt5 - sqrt3)] = 1/(sqrt5 - sqrt3)

Then multiply top and bottom by (sqrt5 + sqrt3) gives

(sqrt5 + sqrt3)/(sqrt5^2 - sqrt3^2) =
(sqrt5 + sqrt3)/(5-3) =
(sqrt5 + sqrt3)/2
May want to stop there.

Working it out:
3.968/2 =
1.984
