You ovulate around 13-15 days after your period ends. Sometimes you can tell when you are ovulating because your ovaries will hurt or feel a little sore.

It is ususlly about 14 days after the first day of your period. Sometimes you will have a little sharp pain on one side or the other of your low abdomen when your egg is released from the ovary but this is not a definate sign. You should think of your period as a way for the uterus to get ready for your egg to be fertilized and implanted on the wall to grow properly. Good Luck!
