Well then can you show me how to do it. I am very confused. And yes the denominators are the same. It says to simplify, does that mean to solve????

the denominators in both of those fractions are the same, right? then, you can just add the numerators.

answer: 1 / (â3 + â5)

unless you copied the problem wrong?
