Will this ever happen? Or will life go on for ever and ever and ever and ever, advancing year by year. Do you think one day, the computer your using right now will ever be considered a historical artifact? Or will everything as we know it today, be considered "not advanced" like when we think of the 1500's? Will the planet end up like these horror movies of the earth ending when it's fend for yourself or only the lucky ones get to go to the "survival centers"?

I just want to know what you think will happen. REALLY, please no silly answers. What you truly think will happen to this planet and civilization.

Civilization on earth will end. Yellowstone will either blow, or the sun will go super nova and fry us. So we need to work on our space travel, and find a habitable planet in another solar system. The human race is probably doomed. We need to get off this planet in the next 100-200 years. And almost everything we have now will probably considered a historical artifact. We are also always growing and advancing. So yes, we will be considered un-advanced to a more advanced decade.

I think of this often. My husband says that I am morbid, but right.

We are one step in the evolutionary process a superior life form will replace us. I believe that life form will be inorganic or organic with inorganic parts. There is a high probability that there will be a cleansing during our life time where about 20-50% of the earth's population will be wiped out. Currently there is the Avian Virus which may be the next cleansing illness that will wipe out a good chunk of the population. Eventually there will be a superior life form which may or may not be humans. If I had to bet, I don't think we will the dominating life form 2,000 years down the road. Because of the large populations and crowding I am certain that it is inevitable that there will be all kinds of epidemics to control the populations. We can't have such large populations for ever. In the process those with better genes will survie to pass them on.

It will end when Jesus returns. HE will set everything aright. Suffering will end and we will learn to live wisely. If there is no Goid who has dominion over the universe than in the not too distant future some natural or human calamity will destroy civilization. Putting your faith in technology and science is foolish, scientists can plainly see there is no salvation for civilization through technology. The Solar System will disintegrate into nothingness. But God is in control and soon, very soon, Jesus will return and everything will be wonderful. You can put your faith in the LORD; not in humanity.

I think unless you created it you'll never truly know, it will always be a mystery, unless you come back as someone else and know who you are/were now.
