Before carving it just rub it down with vegetable oil and it will keep twice as long. No need for refrigeration or anything complicated.

Keep in a cool dry place away from moisture,frost & sun. Its almost impossible. The best bet is hope every goes good or you could buy some of the new ones you carve but can keep forever. I know you will always have to have at least one real pumpkin Have fun halloween is my very favorite holiday..

spray Pam on it wrap it in a bag and refrigerate, i have 10 to do!
