Yep take the dogbone loose, rock the motor forward and most dogbones have a little hole in the bottom where you can reinsert the bolt to hold the motor forward. If it doesn't have one use a ratchet strap to keep it in place. good luck

KS has it right. There is no "Quad" cover on this engine. Removing the upper front "dog bone" braces will allow you to pull the engine forward at the top and give you much more clearance to access the plugs.
Do this with the car on a LEVEL floor and DO NOT set the parking brake. It will interfere with the rotation of the engine.
While you have the mounts off, check the rubbers very well, and if they show signs of deterioration due to force, oil or heat, replace them. They aren't that expensive, and will make a big difference in the way your car handles under acceleration.
Good Luck

Remove the dog bone if there is one, pull the engine forward with a rachet strap, climb on top, and get bloody. You will need a good flex rachet and several sizes of extensions. Getting the plugs out is the easy part, getting the wires off is the hard part. You don't have to take the top off of the engine or anything like that, just try not to get cut or burned. Sometimes we have to do this with the engine hot.

The easiest way to find information on tune-ups or anything else for your car is to get a Hayne's manual from someplace like Autozone, or even on ebay. It will not only tell you how to gain access, but also the best way to go about any repairs that you do. Hope that helps.

Take it to a mechanic. It requires removed the top half of the motor. In the early 90's, automobile engineers started worrying less about the do it yourselfers in auto-mechanics and started designing vehicles with more interior space and less "mechanical" space.

i own a repair shop,,and you have to remove the air intake on it to get them out,,and you,ll need a new gasket to put it back on with,,i hate the way they made them,,there hard to work on there not easy,,let me give you some advice,,if the back valve cover looks like it has been leaking oil,,go ahead and put it on while you have the air intake off it,,its a lot easier to do this way,you can get the plugs in and out without taking the air intake off,but its really hard to do,,they break really easy when you cant see how good your socket is getting on them,,believe me i have done many of them, and hated every one of them, and i have broken a few plugs, and had to remove them,,there not fun at all, take your time with it,,if you get in a hurry you,ll mess up,,i do on these when i get in a hurry, good luck,,i hope this help,s.

You need to unbolt the metal casement, that will say 'quad.." then lift up and remove spark plugs. If you have already gotten this far, then you probably don't need any more advice.
