When people get right up on the end fo your car, what do "you" do?
I personally slow waaay down, 10-15 mph under speed limit, especially when there is no room to pass.
I'm talking about when you yourself are going exaclty, or even a little above speed limit.

Even when i'm going the speed limit and the guy or gal behind
me is on my back end, i'll slow up a tad and if that doesn't
work i'll tap my breaks a couple of times to let them know to
back off or change lanes, The thing here is when this happens
its always when i'm in the right lane. So just do me a favor and
get in the left lane and haul A all you want, but not on my back

I let them pass. You don't know who or what they are so why ASK for trouble. To do anything else is to provoke an incident. Life is too short, and too precious to play silly road games. Contrary to what many are saying the STUPIDEST thing you can do is slam on your brakes and risk being hit and possibly injured.
PS: If you do that and deliberately cause an accident in most states YOU will be the one determined as being at fault and liable for the "tailgaters" injuries and damages. Think about it!

I do something intelligent & just pull over & let them go by.
How do you know if they have an emergency & NEED to get somewhere faster than you & by slowing them down it only causes more problems.
I am a diabetic & I have had many times where I needed to get home to get something to eat or get to my insulin so if I was behind someone going way too slow it is a matter of life or diabetic coma for me.

I am a calm driver most of the time, but if your interested in making the tail gater mad you can flip the wind shield wiper fluid on and spray his car down with all the grime from the car. (I haven't done this in a year and the truck full of mexicans were kind enough to give me a middle finger salute as they passed.)

I just relax and wait for them to take dangerous risks like trying to pass on a curve and running smack into a peterbuilt! Slowing down only aggravates them more, and that can lead to ugly and sometimes deadly cases of 'road rage'.

there are 3 things that i do depending on the situation
I) if i'm on a multilane expressway and a guy is tailgating me, i stomp on the brakes
II) if i'm on a one lane country road, i move off to the side to let him pass then tail gate him
III) if i'm on a on lane country road, i slow down to let him pass, then i speed up so he is stuck on the on coming traffic lane.

Road rage is bad, when they're venting on you anyway. I like to mess with them, but only a little bit. Eventually I let them pass. Maybe it was a real emergency.

oh the best is doing that and when they have a passing lane speed up so they cant pass. and it makes them more mad to see you laugh

I do that... or sometimes I like to slam on my brakes. Its fun to listen to them lock up their brakes behind you.
