YES. I canny bear it!! I cant watch ANY film where i know there is animal cruelty in it. It ruins the whole film for me. Even in Jurassic Park when the hoisted the cow down i was screaming at the tv, then later on the poor goat!!
I hate even watching the tv ads for animal cruelty. The bear one upsets me too much and now they have the donkey one on.
Most animals are depended on humans for their general wellbeing and i never understand what type of person can be cruel like this.
(feel exactly the same for children but this is a question about animals)

Most of the time it upsets me more when a dog gets shot. Unless of course it is a film where a main character dies and you know them and they are nice.

I think the reason is that animals never do anything to deserve it but sometimes humans do. I know it seems wrong but I have always been an animal lover and somebody once told me you can't choose your passions they choose you.

Yes. I just don't see films if I think an animal might die - no Amores Perros for me, even though it looked pretty good.
But I'll happily sit through a war film or cheer if a villian is killed. I'm honestly not violent in real life, but like that kind of catharsis in fiction.
Animals seem generally nicer than humans. Not a pleasant thought, but it is what I think.

That is a terrible moment in "Hondo" when the Indians kill the dog. However, it does have a happy ending. John Wayne sends all those heathen, Godless animals of Indians (not the 7-11 Indians but the Woo Woo Indians) to see the great spirit.

No. I abhor violence in film and television. It is a sad day when an audience cringes and gasp’s at the loss of an animal but cheers and gets excited at the loss of a human life. But again these are the same people who are on the internet looking for the “Death Video” of Steve Irwin; a man is dead for God’s sake. To watch death is disgusting, sad and should never be celebrated. We turn a blind eye to human loss and it’s sickening that we have lost our humanity and our compassion. Does it matter if they are "Good" or "Bad"? Death is death. It's that simple. We run out to the theaters to the body counts...very sad world. We are a bit mixed up as species.

It depends on the movie.
I watched Dog Soliders many years ago and when the guy played by Liam Cunningham shot the German Shepard, I was devestated!

i don't rush to the vet each and every time my dogs get diarrhea. i will circulate to the vet if it rather is been better than 4 hours of fairly unfastened stool, or in the event that they are showing different indicators like vomiting, lethargy, loss of urge for nutrition. i will oftentimes shop them on a bland weight-help plan as quickly as they commence the diarrhea. i might even bypass a meal and then on the subsequent one supply them rice and boiled fowl. dogs can surely get diarrhea from tension in simple terms like we do. yet tension colitis can final for slightly and could be taken care of with drugs and fluids (fantastically if the dogs is dehydrated from not eating or eating). superb to call your vet in case you're rather having any concerns.

Yes! lol... I mean it's not funny but we are conditioned to the point that when a character gets killed, we don't care unless we've grown to care about that character. Anytime a dog gets killed though I cry my little blue eys OUT...lol And if I've become emotionally invested in the dog's character, OMG! Eight Below gets me everytime

I think what sums it up for me is the beginning of the movie Dog Soldiers when a soldier is asked to shoot a dog - if you've seen it you'll know what i mean - if you haven't, get it :)
