i herd that if you are relaxed during labor, the whole thing will go quicker and it wont hurt as much, is this true?

Yes. My labor coach taught me meditative breathing for labor. I never once lost control. I never once screamed. I did not ask for drugs. I think the meditative breathing kept me in more control and let me handle the pain much better than other women.

It was slow deep breathing usuing visualization. None of that panting bullshit.

Try to tell a woman in labor to relax. Don't get hit.

i was told that by my dr. But Lord knows its hard to relax in that much pain! lol
