Don't panic! This is normal! I met my wife on the internet, and it usually happens when you least expect it! Go with the flow but consider the next points before leaping into anything more than chat..

1) Distance between you! Do they live 500 miles away?

2) Physical appearance isn't important. Getting to know someone on the net is great, as you get to know the real them, and it isn't tainted by looks, or stuff like that!

3) Is it possible that this person feels, or could feel the same way?

4) Most important.... What are their circumstances! i.e., do they have kids, are they single all that stuff...

Just be cautious, because a lot of people just want to either flirt, or chat to make themselves feel good! (as you feel) and many won’t go any further! If that’s the case, the old saying goes…. If you feel yourself falling in love, run like feck pmsl!

If you end up with more than chat, good luck fella, if not, enjoy chatting! Hope you end up as happy as I am! GOOD LUCK!

Its great when it happens, I "met" someone when he got in contact with me on myspace, we chat daily, and have done for almost a year. It is surprising how it develops over time, because we talk by IM now we can use web cam so know how we look too, all thats missing is a face to face meeting, but due to distance that may never happen. But I love it anyway, I feel like I have known him all my life, I have other people I chat with and we haven't clicked in the same way, I can't explain but with me and him its different.

Yeah it's normal but it's not right... internet relationships never really last for the right reasons. I find that if you really want to connect with someone you have to be there talking to them. They eyes are the window to your soul. Try and stay friends with her but don't become anything more than that. If you do feel attracted to her ask to meet her and have a coffee or something before you make any suggestions on your relationship with her. Stay safe and remember, it's so easy to lie on the internet. Trust me, I've done it myself. It get's complicated and you can't get away from it... ever!

You are obviously having some great converstations with this girl and she seems to be replying on you wave length. Let the relationship blossom, find out more and more about each other and when you are ready for it maybe you can meet in person, but if this is some thing you want to do then make sure you maintain honest at all times, if you have been dishonest with her so far than let her know and come clean now - maybe this is the girl of your dreams.

Relationships aren't about physical face to face meetings; they're about exchanges of ideas.

I met my best friend nine years ago via an accidental reply to someone else's email list. We were friends for two years before we ever met in person. We are closer friends with each passing year.

Meeting face to face is great, but the most important part of any relationship goes on between two people's minds.

Enjoy!

I hate to burst any bubbles out there, but i met my g/f on a website playing scrabble and because there was no pressure we have met on various occasions and are very happy when we are together. So yes for all you cynics out there, and she was one you can fall in love on the net. :)
P.S. I should add we did not meet until we had swopped photos and had known each other for a good while (albeit in cyberspace)

You sound like a very superb guy. even however i'm a girl who's youthful than you, i will somewhat relate to you. i believe like i'm awkward and don't probable have a social existence. i've got continuously felt like that. i've got tried so difficult to in basic terms slot in and be outgoing and customary, besides the undeniable fact that it purely on no account labored. you have to be your self. you will discover somebody sooner or later who somewhat loves you for who you're.
