LOL, what?? its not going to set off your fire alarm silly! what are you talkin about????I smoke in my room/house all the time!! I have never set off a fire alarm and i also have incense going......try opening a window or going outside or somthing! good luck!

lol! First of all you need to stay away from the fire alarm!! Second, if you gonna smoke light some insense, whatever room you are in, best if it is the bedroom, sit close to a cracked window, and smoke. The smoke will won't stay in the room and the insense will kill the smell incase you have unexpected company.

When you are about to burn one, just call your local police department's NON-emergency number and see if they can send a detective over to fan the smoke detector so it doesn't go off.
After all, they are there to "Protect and to Serve".

Go in another room shut the door, put something under the crack.

get a toilet paper roll put 3-5 dryer sheets inside of it and blow your smoke thru that.....cuts down on the smell and the smoke.

I did in my apartment for 13 years...sometimes the smoke was so thick you couldn't see across the room...so I would say...YES!!

put 5 blankets over your head
make sure you dont light the blankets on fire though
