I think it is situational. I consider myself a lover and not a fighter. However, we all need to have backbone. I stand up for what I believe in, but I always try to be objective and respectful in the process. I believe that we are all called to be peacemakers and NOT peacekeepers. Peacekeepers never stand up for anything, they go with the flow at all times. Peacemakers, make the world more peaceful and find inner peace by standing up for what is good and right and trying to end what is bad and destructive. If we do not stand for something we can fall for anything. We are not robots or trained monkeys...we have a purpose in the world. I do not like drama. I have a friend who has a nickname of soapbox Suzie because she loves drama. I find it annoying. I do not believe people really want to be that way. Suzie does not seem to see herself as others see her. I think if she did see herself that way, she would be embarrassed and would change. In some ways, I think she is just bored with her life...I try to overlook it most of the time and see all the other great things she has to offer. After all, none of us are perfect.

Way laid back & have no time to waste on drama. If idiots are saying idiotic things I just let it roll off my back like water off a duck. If physically attacked all bets are off though.

It's funny. I actually avoid fights with strangers or people outside my family circle. I let go the anger by using sarcasm which is a fun and smartypants defense mechanism. But when it comes to "inside" stuff, I'm the loudest half pint ever produced in Mexico. I don't actually "like it", it just comes naturally.

I never fight if I don't have to but I never back down when I'm pushed into it either. Fighting is such a waste of time and energy.
