Most people experience prejudice due to ignorance, simply
because that's the way they were raised. Their parents were also
prejudice, and so the children learned to be prejudice as well.
The Bible states that we are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:28 states: "There is neither Jew nor Greek,
There is neither bond nor free, there is neither male
Nor female; For ye are all one in Christ Jesus. "

Racism and prejudice is a sin, according to God. If you
Read James 2:8-9 you find: "If ye fulfill the royal law
According to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as
Thyself, ye do well; Hence, learn to love and accept that each and every person are created equal by God.

God accepts everyone from every race, culture or nation. He
Doesn't look at the color of the skin, color of the hair,
or color of the eyes. He looks at the heart of a person.

RIGHTEOUSNESS - doing what is right; virtuous; good,
excellent, pleasant, moral. I think you get the picture. If
we want to be more Christ-like, then we should get rid of
the prejudice and racism that plagues so many of us today.
No matter how a person is raised, racism and prejudice is
wrong and is a sin, and unpleasant in God's eyes. We all
want to do what is right and just, so let's all work on
this area of our lives, and really try to love our neighbor.

Hope this helps. Goodluck!

Prejudice is an irrational decision unsupported through reason and that i agree that it is not something we are born with. the worry is that prejudice can contain a good emotional ingredient. reason isn't very efficient in loosening recommendations rooted rooted in emotion so even although you could understand your prejudice isn't continually justified, that's not straightforward to enable pass of it. it will be unfair to equate smart caution with prejudice so perchance you mustn't beat your self up too a lot over your emotions. In life, we pass although reviews that mark us. we received't 'un-understand' what all of us understand although our attitude would replace with the help of the years. If it problems you, per chance some variety of remedy (neuro linguistic programming or cognitive behavioural remedy) would help. Failing that, i think we merely ought to position self assurance in our rational minds to intervene after we come across ourselves being pushed through a prejudice. strong success.

sorry - stories of prejudice (often called heirarchy) dates back to Socrates and Plato. there always has been - and probably always will be - people attempting to seek and gain power...more often than not - over other people.

so - you can keep an open mind...but you will never make everyone else do the same.

remember - it is a grande goal and personally you will be rewarded for advancing this personal virtue....not to mention being rewarded in God's eyes (provided that means something to you.)

I don't mind talking to anybody as long as they aren't pissed off, scary, or in a designated area. I can talk to anybody in my school who doesn't oppose a threat to the kids. By that, I mean someone who looks like they want to fight, not where baggy street clothes. I discovered that it's hard to generalize punks, hip-hoppers, nerds, and preps. They all have something unique in them and talking to everyone one of them opens up a complete mystery that I love to follow (if they're nice of course). You have to be prejudice to protect yourself. That's nature. But you can become tolerant to harmless people.
