Urinary catheter to drain urine. There is a procedure where a device in inserted into the urethra to crush kidney stones. There is a scope procedure to insert a tube containing a camers to view the inside of the bladder. Which one are you asking about?

If you're talking about a procedure a doctor does.... a cystoscopy is a thin instrument with a light and camera that is placed through the urethra to look into the bladder.
