Thank you for addressing this issue. I often wonder the same. Why would anyone be so foolish as to CHOOSE to be a sociol outcast? Being homosexual is not an easy life, and more than not, they are unaccepted. Its not a sin,its a preferance that a very large portion of the opluation pocesses. I am bisexual, woman and have always crushed on girls and boys, even at a young age. However, there are those silly girls who think its cool and they pretend to like girls to turn men on. Ive had many friends like this. Its so ridiculous. People are so judgemental when it comes to anything they disagree with.

Thanks for this question, wish there was an option to bump it to the front of the page so more people will see that being gay is not a choice. A lot of people who have these feelings of being gay go through a hard time trying to not be who they were borned to be. A lot of them accept it, but they are attacked by Christians and other different types of people who don't understand or accept this lifestyle.

certain, I do. It has no longer some thing to do with faith or all of us else yet right it truly is how I see it. you opt for to commit a actual sexual act with someone or you do not. no matter if it really is with someone of an same sex it really is termed homosexuality, and no matter if it really is with some different person it really is termed heterosexuality. hassle-free as that. in case you opt for to communicate about inclinations and sights, properly then you fairly easily could question that persons complete life as a lot as that factor, case in factor: If a male is raised by skill of a mom and 2 sisters and those sisters gown the more youthful boy up they are going to be conditioned to imagine that a classic habit. In like way that kid will probable overhear those sisters discussing some boy they imagine lovable. The youthful male, wanting to be like his older sisters, will change into better conditioned by skill of them. He would start up to imagine: properly they provide the effect of being at boys, why do not I? At a youthful age, 6 or so, toddlers are the most impressionable. in the adventure that they see particular behaviors in human beings they recognize they are going to attempt to emulate them. Adults do an same component on a smaller scale because adults have a better properly shaped ego and delight. So certain, I do imagine it really is a call.

I don't believe the gay lifestyle is a choice I believe it is a genetic thing. I am a hard core Christian but I believe in loving all God's children. I know many gays who are Christians. If it is true that it is a genetic code then God won't condemn gays. I mean how could God hate us for something we can't control? Can we control what color hair we are born with or what color eyes? God knows why gays are gay. We as a whole should love the person not their sexual practices.

That is why they fear us so much because they deny that we could be like them and not able to choose our orientation. They know that they did not choose to be straight so they deny us as an aberration because we threaten them if we had no choice then their child might not have a choice either and that scares the bejesus out of them.

According to your example, a gay person was seeking to change himself.
Many will say that alcoholism is a disease, not a choice, same as drug addicts (legally, they are disabled and can collect SSI).
Sexuality is a behavior, unlike blue eyes, which is physical, and as a behavior, all behaviors can be modified to some extent - I believe that most of us stopped biting other people (a common trait for a 2 year old), because our behavior was unacceptable.
I have no idea if sexuality is ingrained, learned or how some people are - however, homosexuality has existed for as long as people did - Sparta was all gay men, it died out as a civilization because there were no descendents, so I'm guessing that it has it's shortcomings in nature, as if animals were gay they would not pro-create.
Many have sins, try not to cast the first stone unless your slate is clean.

I agree with you, although you should have made this a real question, not just you saying your piece.
I have a few gay/bi friend, and it's definitely not something they chose. I think that it's definitely a choice to be the ultra flamboyant, stereotypical gay guy, and that drives me nuts. When guys get a lisp and they take it to the extreme because they think it's cool or something. That kind of annoys me a little.

first of all i can almost gaurantee u tht it wasnt a pentacostal nor baptist church either prodestant 7 day saints or latter day saints. I'm a christian, (pentacostal) no im not homophobic nor do i jump at the chance to become freinds with a gay and or lesbian person but i believe in the word of God, God didnt judge but he was all-knowing, he made the world so tht it would be man and woman, its ur choice i wont persecute u 4 it, lots of people will but some have sense and represent God right, please dont get the wrong idea of Christians but yet see it as a person who made a mistake in representing God (the people who made the guy wanna kill himself) btw- christians arent war hungry but they r looking 4 the truth. ♥

Homosexuality, just like being born with blue eyes, is not a choice.
The manner, degree and intensity of your sexual expression is a choice.
