Every recipe I have found requires washing soda, borax, and Ivory soap. I have borax and the soap, but my local stores don't carry washing soda. Is there a way to make laundry detergent without it? How? Thanks so much!

Can you give me the recipie? I would really appreciate it....
Everything I've read says one can't be substituted for the other, but if it works, it works!

in my opinion, i don't cope with acquire. I learn a buyer reviews article approximately laundry detergents and acquire and Xtra have been low on the scores. i choose for Tide. I even have tried different detergents, yet not something beats Tide. Even CR scores positioned Tide as #one million. once you watch the classified ads you will get Tide at an extremely stable value.

I have found that 1/2 cup of cascade crystals (the dish washer soap), 1/2 cup of Clorox two, and 1 cup of your laundry detergent in hot water soaked overnight got all of the mud, grass, and pizza stains out of my son's football pants! try this!
