Not jst one particular band.Many bands have songs about jamie.Why is that.I jst noticed that after i listened to the "Dear Jamie..Sincerly Me" by HelloGoodbye.And then another song called "Yet another song about jamie" by October Fall.But why is that though?

I don't know. Maybe it's a common name, a bit ambiguous-- can apply to both males and females.

Jamie's Cryin'- Van Halen is a cool song
Its the only sonmg i know with jamie in it.

It's a fairly common name in this day and age so naturally it would come up often. It does seem a little overdone though, I have to admit.
