America is more free than the rest of the world, relatively speaking. That being said, it is certainly going in the wrong direction.; There are now two classes of citizens: Those that own the country and the govt. and those that get exploited by those owners and that govt. When financial institutions are not only "too big to fail" but "too big to PROSECUTE" then freedom is just a word. You are nothing but a slave (in an economic sense) because the golden rule will hold true: He with the most gold rules (and since the govt. protects the man with the gold, you're sh*t out of luck poor masses).
