Booze. A little while back, The New York Times ran a weepy story about Patrick Kennedy, how he's "four month sober" and junk. The story was some kind of "triumph of the human spirit" crap.

I wonder if, after he's four months sober, the New York Times will run a similar piece on Foley?

This man knew exactly what he was doing! However, when he got caught he signs himself into rehab, praying that his peers will have mercy on his filthy soul. Telling people after the fact that they have a drug or drinking problem is another weak way to try and get sympathy. He sure the hell wasn't thinking about family members, peers, or any one else for that matter only his loathing self gratification.

It's fashionable for politicians or celebs to admit they have a problem and enter rehab. Even if that problem has nothing to do with alcohol or drug addiction, they still enter rehab. Think of Mel Gibson and his anti-semitic remarks. He's now in rehab too.
