We have become a society of cowards, for the most part. Everyone is afraid to stand up for right, perhaps save someone from hurt or wrong. It is sad isn't it.

First time i see it, ill say something...natural respect for anyone... But if i see it happening more than that and its not for obvious reasons that she cant avoid and just her stupidity, then i dont bother. Even if i did do something it wouldnt make a differenecne anyway with something like that. Hitting a girl though bothers me..dont do it around me and not expect to get hit yourself. Im not putting girls down or anything...but when the big mean football player goes after the most petite cheerleader on the team, its unmoral not to do something there..

People are scared. I for one do not believe in that. Say a guy is beating on a woman. Most people would stare in amazement. They wouldn't dare try to do anything, because they think that man is very tough, believeng heis not afraid to beat up a girl, knowing he is putting his freedom on the line. The men beating the women are *******, and I know this becsue my sisters best friend use to hit her and my sisters best freinds little bro. was three years younger and he knocked the heck out of that dude.

depends on the circumstance, and how you define "being mean". If it comes to the extent of physical hurt, then you'd be a coward not to say/do anything.
usually people would rather stay out of verbal fights/attacks on either party coz it's just plain none of our business, especially in the case of husband-wife relationships. The only one who can / should make a difference is the victim, but if she feels that she can tolerate that kind of s**t then too bad for her.

A lot of people do say things but Its really up to the girl to say something. She'll feel better that she did. Also sometimes people just don't won't to get involved. The girl needs to get away from that guy.

I usually say something to the woman. One time I gave this girl my single cousin's phone number after this guy verbally abused her. I told her my cousin would never talk to her that way. Well, the guy called me a b*tch and then my husband, who is 6'5 320lbs stood up and the rude dude sat down. Ha Ha! I loved it. My cousin and the girl are now married!!!!

Same reason when we see some broad screeching at a man or her children that we don't say anything. It it turns physical, call the police or likely the whole tribe of them will turn on you
