Does the word "graduation" have any connotations to it?

I think graduation means more than just a school graduation -- it means a development of self. Learning something new about oneself. Growing older and mroe mature.

Depens on what they're "graduating" from....
From the VLC- they've finally been kissed on the lips.
From high school- they're supposedly an adult.
From college- they're supposedly smart enough to have a real job/career...
