An idealized view of a Utopian state which is incapable of being achieved because there are too many selfish people. Anarchy has gotten a bad name as being associated with violence and lawlessness. In fact Anarchy merely proposes the absence of Government and laws trusting to man's good nature to act in the best interests of all without the need for coercion or a ruling class.

Anarchy is impossible. A dominant personality will always rise to take charge and give guidance. Passive personalities will always crave the guidance of dominant personalities. We just have to hope that the dominant personality will be assertive and not aggressive.

Though I am sorry to say I cannot quote any, I know that there is excellent research on group dynamics that prove people will always crave a power structure--either by being a part of it or by being ruled by it.

Hi, Peace3anarchy,
We have a "government", for many reasons... One that is very important is "security".... If you do not have a government, who are you going to depend on to protect you?.. You would only have yourself and dependence on good-will of people around you... Have you ever been somewhere when someone was getting kidnapped? ... Have you ever screamed for help, when there are tons of people around you, and no one moves?.. No one wants to get involved or hurt, so they don't risk it...
>>>>>>
You cannot depend on every person to be good.. and always helping someone... Police and authority... What would you do without them.... the government protects us.... Anarchy, is like wanting a utopia. it just doesn't work that way....

Thanks, for the question!;D

My regards!

It works OK in the animal kingdom if you don't mind complete injustice on every level. We probably did OK as hunter gathers w. it but at this level of population and technology any power vacuum would be filled by the strongest as soon as the fighting over who the strongest are was over.

I pray that we never find out about anarchy in this country. It would truly be "survival of the fittest".

The laws of nature are either ordered or chaotic. They can't be both.
