Moraine

An accumulation of glacial debris, usually till, with distinct surface expression related to some former ice front position. End moraine, the most common form, is an uneven ridge of till built in front of or around the terminus of a glacier margin, and reflects some degree of equilibrium between rate of ice motion, supply of rock debris at the ice front, temperature of the glacier base, and shape and resistance of underlying bedrock

A moraine is the wake left by a glacier. There are different types of moraines such as terminal and medial moraines but they all consist of deposited and upturned material otherwise known as glacial till.

Moraine is rock debris, fallen or plucked from a mountain and transported by glaciers or ice sheets. The moraine may be lying on the glacier's surface or have been deposited as piles or sheets of debris, where the glacier has melted. Till is another word used to describe the sediments left by melted glaciers but is not used to describe debris lying on a glacier's surface.

debris generated bya glacier as it abrades rocks/soil etc. This material is carried along with the glacier. As it grows and recedes these piles of debris are deposited. The moraine at the farthest point of a glacier is called the terminal moraine

It's a pile of rocks carried by a glacier and dumped where the glacier melts. Since glaciers lengthen and recede quite often, you find moraines in all sorts of unlikely places, like places where there haven't been any glaciers for thousands of years.
