With all of the bickering and fighting among parties (for dominance) we the people of America have been left out in the cold. The threat of terrorism, political mudslinging, and many other issues are being ignored all for what? Who will win the next election! We are at war with ourselves and are split among party lines. It is time for all of us, from all backgrounds to work together and make America a better place.

Anyone out there who doesn't believe we're at war with the terrorists has their head lodged firmly within the southern-most extremities of their anatomy. As to a "solution to global struggle" I'm afraid there is none. The history of the world is all about war and that's not going to change. Yes, you have a bunch of utopian pipe-dreams out there that are part and parcel of the naive liberal mindset but reality remains reality. War has been, is, and shall be.

All of us are at war with Government generated FEAR. Or am I missing something here when I am told by the President of some nation that I will suffer, at the hands of these terrorists, "Untold missery if we loose 'our way of life', 'theyre out to get us, our friends and allies', In the name of peace, democracy and freedom, we will come and save you, just after we move 500,000 combat personel in to 'set up house'. "To let them know they really 'mean' what they say". Grim statments on the bombing campaign on Bahgdad by Rumsfa*t like "Shock and Awe" and "You ain't seen nutthin' yet" (No declaration of war at this stage!) We just thought we would try and kill him first before we told him it was a war.

If you want change, keep it in your pocket. Your dollar is your vote and the machines don't count.
Consumption is the problem. We are only involved in all those countries because we want their resources. If we weren't going around the world and poking our corporations into everything, then the rest of the world could go on and kill each other without us getting involved. We are relatively geographically isolated, and there isn't a big chance of being invaded by anyone.
We just have to stop wanting so much useless crap.

In my view, America is the cause of most of the problems. At the moment, there is a struggle going on inside the USA as well.

I believe that we are at WAR because we are sending our soldiers out to BATTLE for what our Political Leaders Believe in, not because we are at war with terrorists.

No. We have allowed our selves to be hijacked by evil, cynical opportunists. The Bush administration are true terrorism advocates. We have become what we feared, through fears and being controlled by fear.

Very possible. I've heard so many stories about this, I don't know what to believe. I've heard we set ourselves up for the attack of 09/11. I just don't know. I don't think anyone does.
