ALWAYS black eyeliner and mascara...as for shadow, stay in the warm tones such as maroon or golds.

I had the same problem. I've got dark brown eyes and I was getting bored with purples, although they do look good.
I found an eyeshadow pallet with black, dark teal and red. While it may sound weird, it was an awesome combo. I used the black on my lash line and smudged it to look really smokey.
Then I used the dark teal just above it and put the red in the crease. I highlighted the brow bone with a powder highlighter.
The colors really don't stand out when you step back and look at it, but it really makes the eyes pop.
I don't remember the brand of the pallet, but you can go and look for those colors.

a light pink is always nice and goes with just about anything, make sure to also use a darker pink eyeliner and line the top of the eye with it. It will look great!
Also a light gold with a bronze eyeliner is nice and looks great when you wear black.
Maybe a light green with a copper green eyeliner to give it that extra oomph! That always looks good when you wear red or even brown or white.

Pink always looks good with any outfit, like not a light or dark pink, right in the middle. But I like to use different shades of green myself and earthtone colors

gold shimmery eyeshadow is the best! you could but some at walmart, or a kohls. theres this gold eyeshadow from flirt! at kohls that is always out of stock! its really prettty and costs ten bucks though. so remember, brown eyes, gold eyeshadow or goldish greens. good luck! :)

I like a nice brown. Brown is very neutral, and it even looks good in a lipstick. Very sophisticated too.

well your avatat has brown eyes so im guessing you have brown eyes too you should wear greens hazel colors and purples

Have you try any glitter or shimmer on your eye lids? It is cool. Or smocky eyes with khaki green will show out your dark brown eyes.

find a Mary Kay consultant. She can tell you what looks good on you. I use shimmer green with fig highlights and black eyeliner. its really pretty!! or try browns and golds!!
