They did quiz people, back in 2000. Where does the arrow point. Unfortunately the answer was Pat Buchanan.

Your too loose. How do these things fit together. Am I missing something. Democracy is a type of political persuasion. Ethics are a part of Character. Pederasty is perverted and illegal. What does anything of the above have to to with the right to vote? Last I heard, you have to be a citizen of the country you live in, to vote. If you are suggesting more should be required, possibly. The way it's set up now, there are morons out there that vote for the person because they look good. But as for your throwing democracy, ethics and pederasty together and applying to the right to vote, what the hell kind of drugs are you on.

The Voting Rights Act of 1965, which was recently renewed for 25 years, prohibits such a test. I would not object to amending that portion of the law. I worked at the polls in November 2004. More than 1 voter asked "How do I vote for the (insert party here) for president?" After I told them "Press here for George Bush or here for John Kerry", they asked "How do I vote for the (insert party here) for president?" If you don't know which candidate is which, should you really be voting?

I love the concept but not the questions.

WAY too many stupid people are allowed to vote. They proceed like lemmings into the election booth and pull levers and push buttons like robots with absolutely no knowledge of the issues or the candidates. Some are even bribed to vote.

Yep...you have a good idea there.

Sorry, pal. The right to be stupid is one of America's most cherished freedoms, along with freedom to be black, Jewish...you fill in the blank. Start down that slippery slope and eventually you'll be turn away from the voting booth.
