It depends on whether or not you consider the flow to be light or heavy. "Spotting" is common in a lot of women in early pregnancy and typically occurs around the time of the missed period. Definitely check out the web link below and talk to you OB!
Good luck!

When a ladies first will get pregnant she could spot a little bit across the time she will have to have her interval. Other than that one time, there will have to be no bleeding. The first time I received pregnant, approximately five weeks after I began to bleed. It was once like a common interval. At 6 weeks I had a miscarriage. If a ladies bleeds at the same time pregnant, there's a quite well risk she will lose the little one. Sometimes if there's bleeding and the general practitioner catches it quickly ample, they may be able to provide the ladies a few med's to quit it from taking place. I wish this has helped.

Bleeding during pregnancy is not a good sign, that is good that you went to the ER.. Did they tell you what was causing the bleeding? Try making an appointment with your doctor so he could run more test.
For now just take it easy, you might have to be put on bed rest... Keep your feet up and take it easy!!! (Good Luck)!!!!

well I bleed until I was 18 weeks. I did have a previous miscarriage, but my doctor said this had nothing to do with it. The only thing you can do is feel for cramps. You are close to the safe zone. Just do not stress. God will do what is right. I would not worry to much.

I had a small amount of bleeding during my first pregnancy. They put me on bed rest for a couple days and everything ended up fine.

Believe it or not, there are women who actually have a full period throughout their pregnancy. That has never happened to me, but I did experience something similar. When I was nine months pregnant with my fourth child, my cervix effaced and I bled just like if my water broke. It scared me half to death, but I found out later that it was quite common. Good luck with your pregnancy! Hope everything goes well for you!

if you bleed through pregnancy, lay down, relax. seriously. my teacher started bleeding, her husband called hospital they told him to make her lay down, because that is a sign of miscarriage. yeah..sure, its not always the same thing, but wouldn't you rather be atleast safe?

I've never been pregnant, but others who have been pregnant have mentioned spotting durring pregnancy. This is not unusual unless it is a lot of bleeding. (I'm not sure what constitues "alot") This is what my friends have told me.

50% of women who bleed during early pregnancy will NOT miscarry. i hear it can be fairly common.. the causes could be a low placenta, sexual activity.. irritation.. not sure what else offhand.
